Liza Minnelli Returning To Broadway
Liza Minnelli can see her upcoming "Liza's at the Palace...." show, which starts a three-and-a-half week run Dec. 3 at Broadway's Palace Theatre, as having a longer stay on the Great White Way and maybe even hitting the road. But she isn't making any of those plans yet.
"Y'know, I really go one step at a time here," Minnelli tells Billboard.com. "I just want to get to the opening night and then we'll see what happens after that."

Paul McCartney: Beatles/iTunes Negotiations 'Stalled'
The Beatles' back catalog won't be appearing on iTunes any time soon, according to Sir Paul McCartney.
Speaking at a media launch in London for the new album by his alias the Fireman, McCartney said Apple Corps and the band's label EMI couldn't agree on terms to release the Beatles' catalog to iTunes and other download services.
"That is constantly being talked of. We'd like to do it," said McCartney. "What happens is, when something's as big as The Beatles, it's heavy negotiations."
After its weekend announcement that it was heading back on tour, No Doubt has revealed its first show of 2009.
The group will headline the second day of the Live Nation-promoted Bamboozle festival on May 3 at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, N.J. Fall Out Boy will headline the opening day.
Two-day and VIP passes are available from the festival's Web site, with single-day tickets going on sale Friday (Nov. 28).

U2, Coldplay, Killers Help Launch (RED)WIRE
Some of the biggest names in music are contributing exclusive songs to RED(WIRE), a new digital music magazine launching on World AIDS Day (Dec. 1).
U2, Coldplay, the Killers, the Dixie Chicks, John Legend, R.E.M. and Bob Dylan are on board for the initiative, which is an outgrowth of the Bono-reared activist organization (RED). All proceeds from subscriptions will benefit HIV-infected people in Africa; MSN.com will host a kick-off party on Dec. 1.
Leona Lewis' retooled "Spirit" album entered at the top of the U.K. album chart to give Simon Cowell's Syco Music imprint at Sony BMG a second consecutive No. 1, as last week's bestseller, Il Divo's "The Promise," fell sharply to No. 7.
