Britney Spears To Tour Next Spring
Britney Spears will begin a tour next spring, produced by AEG Live. Sources say the trek will likely hit arenas and be international in scope, as were recent AEG Live-produced outings by Bon Jovi and Justin Timberlake.
Spears last toured in 2004, grossing more than $34 million, according to Billboard Boxscore.

Oasis Scores Seventh Straight U.K. No. 1
Oasis made its customary debut atop the U.K. album chart yesterday (Oct. 12) with "Dig Out Your Soul" (Big Brother), as Pink's "So What" (LaFace) started a second week at No. 1 on the singles chart.
The Oasis album continues the band's record of having reached No. 1 on the U.K. bestsellers with each of its seven studio albums, a run going back to the 1994 debut "Definitely Maybe." The first single from the new release, "The Shock of the Lightning," fell from its No. 4 debut to No. 16.
50 Cent's new album will boast production and guest turns from mentors Dr. Dre and Eminem. As previously reported, "Before I Self Destruct" is due Dec. 9 via Shady/Aftermath/Interscope. Producer Scott Storch helmed first single "Get Up."
The package will also include a 90-minute, feature-length movie about an inner city boy named Clarence who sets to avenge the death of his mother. 50 Cent wrote, directed and starred in the film, the trailer for which can be viewed here.
Linkin Park has unveiled the track list for "Road To Revolution," a double-disc CD/DVD of the rock act performing in at England's Milton Keynes National Bowl during the European leg of the 2008 Projekt Revolution tour. The set is due Nov. 25 via Machine Shop Recordings/Warner Bros.

Hoobastank Eyeing January For New Album
Hoobastank is previewing its as-yet-untitled new album, due in January via Island, with the single "My Turn," which hits U.S. rock radio outlets today (Oct. 13). The track will be available tomorrow via iTunes.
The new album is the follow-up to 2006's "Every Man for Himself," which has sold 216,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In comparison, its 2003 predecessor, "The Reason," has shifted 2.3 million.
