And Id like to take a minute just sit right there
Ill tell you all about how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air

IN West Philadelphia born an' raised
On the playground IS WERE I spen most of my days
Chillin out maxin and relaxin all cool
While shootin some bball outside of the school
Well a couple a guys they were up to no good
StartED  makin trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one lil fight and my mom got scared
She said "Your moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air

Well I whistled for a cab and when it came near
I noticed the liscense said "Freshhh" and the dice on the mirror
Now if anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought man forget it Yo home for Bel Air

I pulled up to the house about 7 er 8
And I yelled to the cabby "Yo HO  smell ya later!"
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To sit at my throne as the Prince Of Bel Air
